Annabelle Webb suffered major trauma to her face and skull after a dead tree fell on her boyfriend and her at a local park last month.  Since then, she faced a 9 hour surgery and a lengthy recovery.  Annabelle is in the Hendersonville Racquet Club’s Youth Performance Elite (HYPE) tennis program.  HRC will hold a fundraiser for Annabelle and her family to help pay for her medical expenses this Friday, May 13th.

A tennis pro exhibition doubles match will be played at 5:30 followed by a round robin play from 6:30-8 pm.  A silent action will be held with donations from HRC, Crate Wine Market, Sunburst Trout Farms, Tennis Pros Dylan Jicha & Bobbie Garrett, Sierra Nevada Brewery and others.  Food, beer and wine will be served throughout the evening.

Owner Chris Bull remarked, “Here at HRC, we always talk about the family of HRC.  One of family needs us, so we are there for them.  The response has been great so far from other members and the community and we expect to have a fun night for all for a great cause.”
