CLUB UPGRADES

We have been working hard on the facilities, but most of the focus recently was fixing things around the outdoor courts, repainting the deck, door and posts, and getting the ice machine working again.  If you noticed the big mulch pile by the end of the parking lot, that’s from clearing all the area between the lower clay courts and the upper clay courts.  We will be working on the rest of the clearing the end of this week.  Then sometime in April we will drag the rest of the cuttings down by the pond and mulch in place again but this time under the trees to nourish that area. Dottie also did some painting in the clubhouse’s men’s locker room and added some decorative racquets above the lockers.

On the LED upgrade/retrofit front, we did complete our outdoor LED lighting upgrade.  Next is the LED retrofit of all the lighting in the clubhouse locker rooms (in April), then in arena/fitness building, then the rest of the clubhouse.  The plan is to have it all complete by first day of summer.  The lighting levels should be the same or greater than you are enjoying now!  We also are installing smart thermostats in the fitness room and group fitness rooms.

VACATION

Owners Chris and Cindy are taking their youngest daughter Lindsay on a spring break vacation this week, their first real vacation since purchasing the club back in 2015.  Dottie will also be out because she will be down at the Volvo Car Open in Charleston this week.  Dylan, Briana, Bobby and Lois will be here to keep things going, but please know that we will be running with half-staff and things might not be as efficient as usual.  We appreciate your patience with any inconveniences this week!

….thanks for being a part of the HRC family.  If you need anything or have any comments/questions, please don’t hesitate to ask any of our staff.  Keep warm, keep active and see you at the club!

Sincerely,
Chris, Cindy and staff
