CLUB UPGRADES

The biggest upgrades to the club in 2019 so far are in the fitness area.  We put in a new floor downstairs, repainted, removed an old machine, and put new lights in upstairs.  We plan on finishing the flooring next week and then start on putting in more mirrors downstairs this month.  We also refurbed and repainted both bath/locker rooms.

On the LED upgrade/retrofit front, we have installed the new lighting in the arena/fitness building.  Next up is the locker rooms in the clubhouse.  They have been ordered and installation will be happening before mid April.  The lighting levels should be the same or greater than you are enjoying now!

We also finally got our new divider curtain for indoor tennis courts 1 and 2.  It was made custom for us and took a lot longer to get here than expected.  It looks great though!

We are gearing up for outdoor tennis season right now.  We have a couple of projects planned that will make a big impact to the areas between parking lot and clubhouse (sorry, but no escalator!) as well as between upper and lower courts.  Soon as the weather allows, John and crew will be out on clay courts cleaning and repairing from winter, adding 1-2 tons of new clay per court, getting irrigation going and more this month.  As we get further into March, we will give you a clay court update to let you know when opening is.  Current opening day festivities are planned for April 5th but could change depending on what the weather decides to do.  Stay tuned!

….thanks for being a part of the HRC family.  If you need anything or have any comments/questions, please don’t hesitate to ask any of our staff.  The blossoms are popping on the trees…it’s a great time of excitement around here.  Let’s all keep active and see you at the club!

Sincerely,
Chris, Cindy and staff

  1. Chris,

I show up for Monday drills once in a while. Can I do the same for Thursday Men’s Doubles or Friday’s Mixed Doubles?

    Thanks.
